I suppose that I need to get back to my more artistic bent. Currently i am in a rationalist state of mind and channeling my nerdy self and being hyper-rational about approach to things.  This approach doesn't usually lend itself to creativity.

But how does this happen?

It is very attractive and eye catching, what is it? Are there daffodils where you are? They are in full bloom here and make my heart sing with the promise of warm weather and cherry blossoms soon to appear.
You need to look with your heart, not your mind,that will help your artistic endeavors
You have a good eye for composition.
